Sophia Ricketts earned her B.A. in Mass Communication and B.A. in Rhetoric from Goergia College & State University in August of 2024. Ricketts worked previously as the General Manager for GCSU's award-winning student-run radio station, WGUR 95.3, “The Noise,” where she also served as News Director. Additionally, she was involved with the university’s television station, GC360, as a volunteer reporter and anchor. In summer of 2023, Sophia attended the GAB Radio Talent Institute and interned at both Georgia Public Broadcasting and the Ryan Seacrest Studios at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Aside from media interests, was an active member of her sorority, Delta Gamma, and the National Residence Hall Honorary on campus.
